What is A.I.M.M you may ask
Well it stands for Advanced. Interactive. Midi. Mixing,
A potential Universal standard that could rate DAWs and DJ and Midi based Softwares abilities to be Midi Touch Screen Interactive friendly
A potential Universal standard that could rate DAWs and DJ and Midi based Softwares abilities to be Midi Touch Screen Interactive friendly
The Criteria would be the ability of the DAWS AND DJ Midi Softwares to Connect to Midi Touchscreen Software Hosts such as DAWSound and others to
Rate out of 0 to 100 such things being able to Connect at all and to what level, Midi Learn functionality, Customization (ability to Color match with the DAW/DJ software etc)User friendly experience
This standard could help users in deciding what DAW/DJ Midi Software would be best for the Midi Touchscreen experience
Like in all measuring process there are alot of variables but there are also obvious things that stand out one has to start with the obvious eg like no DAW conectivity or Color matching would be Zero then one could have a sliding scale based on the 4 Criteria s
1.Ability to Connect to a DAW/DJ Midi Program and to what level
2. Midi Learn Functionality
3.Customization matching (GUI Color Harmonization between Touchscreen Midi Host and DAW/DJ MIDI Software)
4.User friendly experience ( a DAW/DJ MIDI Software may tick alot of the boxes but it is convoluted to use)
So Im putting this idea Thought Form out there to help with the selection process of which DAW/DJ MIDI Software would be best for a program like DAWSound
The A.I.M.M standard could become a benchmark for this evaluation process.... thanks Jar
